Perspective on the SUN movement
David Nabarro, Coordinator of the SUN Movement and Special Representative of the UN Secretary General Food Security and Nutrition, delivered the Waterlow lecture at the Symposium on Scaling Up Prevention and Treatment of Malnutrition at the 20th International Congress of Nutrition, Granada, Spain on the 16th September 2013.
In his lecture, David Nabarro described the evolution of the Scaling Up Nutrition (SUN) movement and its elements. He sets out his thinking on what he referred to as the melodies, rhythms and patterns within the Movement and offered personal perspectives on what more is needed in moving forward.
