Review of CMAM in post-emergencies
FANTA has conducted a review of Community Based Management of Acute Malnutrition (CMAM) in the post-emergency context. The review is a synthesis of lessons on integration of CMAM into national health systems.
The Food and Nutrition Technical Assistance (FANTA) Project, funded by USAID (OFDA and Global Health), conducted a review of community-based management of acute malnutrition (CMAM) in Ethiopia, Malawi and Niger from April to June 2007.
This review focused on the integration of CMAM into the national health systems of these three countries and identified key elements of CMAM integration.
