Zambia awarded funds to scale up CTC
The existing Community-based Therapeutic Care (CTC) programme in Zambia is being scaled up, backed by new funding.
With the award of a World Bank grant to Valid International, the Community-based Therapeutic Care (CTC) programme in Zambia has been expanded to cover all 25 sites and health centres in Lusaka. In partnership with UNICEF, Valid International is also providing technical support for the implementation of CTC in Eastern Province, and is collaborating in training health workers from other areas of Zambia in the CTC approach.
