New online malnutrition training course
An electronic version of the WHO training course on the inpatient management of severe acute malnutrition has been developed by private company Microlink PC UK with the University of Southampton.
The course is directed at doctors and senior health professionals and has been formally tested by paediatricians and nutritionists with experience in tropical paediatrics and the treatment of malnutrition. The course will be presented to WHO in July 2008 after which it will be made available to the public through this site.
